    windows Backyard Basketball

    Version

    0 downloads

Backyard Basketball offers two primary modes of gameplay: Single Game, which allows the player to select a team to compete against a computer-controlled team, and Season Play, which allows the player to select a team to compete against a series of computer-controlled teams over an 18-game season, including two best-of-three playoff series and a best-of-five championship series should the player achieve a large number of victories. The Single Game mode also allows the player to compete against a second player or to practice using a single character. Before games can occur, the player has the option to modify a variety of settings. These include court selection, A.I. difficulty (easy, medium, or hard), the presence of certain rules (fouls, fatigue, violations, shot control, and power-ups), sound options (game music, background sounds, and in-game dialogue), controls, and team names. Team modification also involves the customization of jerseys. The game’s controls are set to mouse usage by default, capitalizing on a point & click style of gameplay to move characters around. The game is also compatible with keyboards and game pads.

    windows Zoo Tycoon

    Version

Start building & managing your zoo right from the start -- plan out your exhibits and design a layout Do your very best to please customers and the animals Inhabit your zoo with the right animals to draw in the big crowds Over 200 animals to exhibit, plus all kinds of new & interesting plant life to help make your zoo more exotic Manage your zoo wisely -- meet the needs of both the people and the animals without losing all your money Zoo Tycoon is a zoo simulation video game putting the player in control of their own fictional zoo business. The gameplay formula introduced in the original Zoo Tycoon in 2001 received updates throughout the series, but its theme and main motifs remain unchanged: Players must build, expand, and/or upgrade a zoo by purchasing animals, creating suitable animal habitats, and allocate staff and resources for animal maintenance and care. As the ultimate goal of the game is revenue, players must also provide for visitors by building food/drink stands, sanitary facilities, picnic areas, and an aesthetically pleasing environment. Higher revenue is generated by keeping both animals and visitors happy. If the animals are released from their enclosure, they can kill the visitors. Zoo Tycoon features three modes: Scenario, Challenge, and Freestyle. The Scenario mode puts players in control of a preset scenario in which they have to accomplish multiple objectives within a time period. New items are unlocked as the scenario progresses. The Challenge mode, first introduced in Zoo Tycoon 2, resembles the Scenario mode in that the player is in a preset scenario with limited funds and must accomplish certain goals. It differs in that this mode is not progressive. The Freestyle mode differs in each game, but usually leaves the player free to build a zoo from scratch however they see it.

This impressive add-on to the fun and frantic Red Alert 2 does what other great real-time strategy expansion packs, such as The Conquerors for Age of Empires II and Brood War for Starcraft, have done before--it makes an already great game even better, not only by piling on new features, but also by adding enough significant enhancements that the result stands out as being not just broader than its predecessor, but legitimately different. That means Yuri's Revenge will more than likely renew your interest in Westwood's over-the-top game. Many of Yuri's units are very interesting. His Gatling tanks fire faster and faster upon their targets--if you can protect them long enough, they'll eventually be dishing out huge damage at a tremendous rate of fire. These flimsy units can be great for defense from within Yuri's tank bunkers--immobile fortifications that let his tanks fire on attackers without fear of retaliation. Meanwhile, the mastermind unit, a strange tanklike vehicle, can automatically mind-control any enemy unit that crosses its path--it mind-controls units automatically, but the catch is that it starts short-circuiting if it mind-controls more than three. Yuri also commands legions of Incredible Hulk-like mutants called brutes, which can go toe-to-toe with enemy tanks. He has defensive structures that automatically mind-control groups of units that enter their sphere of influence--truly an imposing obstacle. Plus, he's got a very nasty nuclear submarine in his arsenal. Altogether, Yuri's new faction is very different from those of the Soviets and the Allies--even his ore harvester, called the slave miner, is nothing like the harvesters for the other sides. It's a self-contained refinery, and slave units automatically shovel ore into this armed platform to fuel Yuri's war effort. Like the other two factions, Yuri's side has a lot of personality and largely consists of units that are well designed, memorable, and worth using in most any battle. Yuri's forces are physically weak when directly compared with those of the Allies and Soviets--but they can be used to devious effect. Note Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge is an addon for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, you will need the original game to play. Note 2 You might need to follow this tutorial (on reddit) to get the game running on newer systems like Windows 10.

    windows Atrox

    Version

    1 download

Atrox is astonishingly similar to Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft. The gameplay, the graphics, units, buildings, even single animations are extremely close to the original. The game is a real-time strategy game where the player controls one of three races (Hominides, Inteliom, Kreators) and tries to destroy all the others on the map. To accomplish this task, he can build a base with many different buildings such as weapon factories, barracks, power plants and so on. He also has to gather resources to build all his stuff, in this game, he needs to get Quark and some liquid crystal. The game features three different campaigns (one for each race) as well as skirmish mode, network and online play (the latter using a server).

    windows Myst 3

    Version

Better navigation, looks and smarter puzzles make up this sequel to Riven. The story picks up after the events in Myst, Riven, and the Myst-based novels (The Book of Atrus, The Book of Ti’ana, and The Book of D’ni). Atrus, the beleaguered Age-writer from the previous games, welcomes you, the player, to the age of Tomahna, where he’s currently working on a new age for the D’ni, a race of people whose world was destroyed in the novels. They’re the folks who figured out how to write Ages in books in the first place. You enter the fray when some stranger bursts into Atrus’ study, grabs his new Age (Releeshahn), and disappears. The biggest improvement over the previous Myst games is the full 360-degree view of the environment. Rather than display a single postcard, you can move the camera around and examine your newly animated surroundings. It’s not exactly comparable to the freedom you get from a 3D game, but it’s always good to at least feel like you can look around a corner. The wonderful rendered screens and videos more than make up for the lack of movement, sporting enough visual detail to surpass Riven. Certain puzzles require an attention to detail from previous areas, while others simply require mechanical or spatial thinking. The puzzles are hard enough to make you think, but not so impossible that you have to resort to a hint book to get past them. Each of the Ages contains puzzles that relate to the nature of the Age, and very few of them are completely arbitrary – most times, the puzzle fits in to the concept of the game. And unlike Riven, doing something on one side of an island doesn’t affect something on the far side. Very rarely will you have to leave an area in order to get past an obstacle. However, the game is still very much a Myst game at the core — a pretty slide show with logic puzzles. There were quite a few people who really tried to play Myst and found it about as entertaining as watching paint dry. These people won’t find much excitement in Myst 3: Exile, but for the fans of the series it should be a real treat. Gameplay
