Malcolm suspects that Ripburger is scheming to take over the company, and is suspicious of Ripburger's plan to recruit a biker gang to ride with them to the meeting. Malcolm's limousine is overtaken by one such gang, the Polecats, and he is immediately impressed with them. Catching up to them at a biker bar, he quickly befriends their leader, Ben. Ripburger offers to hire the Polecats to escort Malcolm to the meeting, but when Ben declines, he is knocked out by Ripburger's flunkies, Bolus and Nestor.

An asteroid the size of a small moon is on a crash course toward Earth, and only NASA veteran Boston Low has the expertise to stop it. Along for the ride are award-winning journalist Maggie Robbins and internationally renowned geologist Ludger Brink.

Once the wayward asteroid is nuked into a safe orbit, the trio conducts a routine examination of the rocky surface.

What they uncover is anything but routine.

Low, Brink and Robbins unwittingly trigger a mechanism that transforms the asteroid into a crystal-like spacecraft. The team is hurtled across the galaxy to a planet so desolate, Brink is moved to name it Cocytus, after the 9th circle of Hell in Dante’s inferno. The bleak landscape was obviously once home to a highly evolved civilization, with remnants of sophisticated architecture, advanced technology and an intricate network of underground tunnels.

      But no Cocytans.

Who were the original inhabitants of this once rich empire-turned-wasteland? What are those apparitions that mysteriously appear from time to time? Why have Low, Robbins, and Brink been brought to this place? And how can Low keep his team from unraveling in the face of such uncertainty? To return to Earth, they must dig for answers, both on the planet’s surface and deep within themselves.

From the combined talents of LucasArts and legendary Steven Spielberg comes an epic adventure that plunges headlong into the very core of the unknown. And takes you with it.

Alien Incident is a fun, unassuming science fiction adventure that is great for young adventurers due to its family-oriented plot and easy puzzles.
You play the role of a teenager called Benjamin who's visiting his uncle's house at Halloween. His uncle, a home-grown scientist, attempts to activate his latest invention, the wormhole spawner. Amazingly enough, it works and rips open a wormhole to another galaxy, transporting an alien spacecraft to Earth. The aliens kidnap your uncle and, surprisingly, your mission is to rescue him (and the world, but you knew that already).
Strategy Plus sums up the game's appeal quite nicely as follows: "GameTek's Alien Incident must have been developed with the fledgling gamer in mind, and in that sense seems to be going in the right direction. Along with its clever animation and interesting storyline, it reinforces to the new or younger gamer the idea that fun, challenging gameplay doesn't have to include violence....
The tone of the game is well established very early and nicely maintained throughout. You cannot hope to rescue your uncle and thwart the plans of the aliens without some obstacles, so there is, of course, the usual gathering and intelligent deployment of assorted objects for puzzle.
On the down side, Alien Incident seems to crash and lock up every now and then. But even when this happens, the game has an automatic recovery system. For instance, if the game crashes for whatever reason, the next time you start the game you'll find it has performed a "disaster save," and asks if you want to start where you left off. Seems like they may have been expecting a crash or two, eh?
Parents will want to add this game to their shopping lists, as the story is fun and easy to follow and the interface intuitive enough to pick up with little or no coaching. Recommended primarily as family fare, this non-violent diversion should prove entertaining to Mom and Pop, as well as Billy and Sue Ellen… assuming they can withstand the occasional technical problems."

Leisure Suit Larry was created together with Police Quest 1, as a new addition to the adventure genre.
You are Larry Laffer, a 38-year-old loser who has lived his entire life at his mum's place. One day he suddenly realises that he needs to live the good life and taste the forbidden fruit, so he goes out and buys a leisure suit and some gold jewellery. The old Larry Laffer has died, and the new one is ready to get down and boogie!
The plot of the game is quite simple: you have to score with a female within 24 hours.
This game is great fun, and it kept me busy for a long time when it was released. Considering that I was about eight years old when I first tried the game, it is a miracle that I actually managed to complete it. (My English typing was quite basic in those days, to say the least). Thankfully my older brother stepped in and helped me type such difficult commands as EXAMINE and GIVE WHISKEY TO DRUNK. Basically he did almost everything in the game the first time I "played" it. Thanks, man!
This game was the first of its kind to have sequels waiting. Al Lowe had designed Larry to evolve throughout the games, so the story of Larry is more complex than the story of many other game heroes.
There is not much more to say about the first Larry game. It was meant as an introduction to the "quest" game style, although it is very different from the other three series (King's Quest, Space Quest & Police Quest).

DOSBox This game requires DOSBox emulator. Get it here SimTown is an old dos game, published in 1995 by Maxis. Main genre of this old game is strategy. Maxis is the game company that needs no introduction. It has developed some mega-successful games such as SimCity, Sims, and many more of the wide-ranging sim* games. Despite the fact that they have one city simulator, Maxis introduced another building simulator game in 1995 - SimTown. The difference between SimTown and SimCity is the players the individual games are targeting. While simcity is designed for the more experienced players, providing more options for strategy choices, SimTown focuses on younger players, it is a basically game that will teach you strategic game play. The more experienced players build the city very quickly, but after some time, there is nothing much to do and build. Construction itself has virtually no limits, you do not have to pay attention to traffic, noise, pollution, or other similar things you are accustomed to from other games. The only limit is its own aesthetic feeling. There is no money in the game, so you really can not limit yourself and you can never beautify your city. One advice: go play SimCity and let your kids play SimTown at home.

DOSBox This game requires DOSBox emulator. Get it here Alien Incident is an old dos game, published in 1996 by GameTek. What should be the right type of adventure game? Either it must be serious, horror, or funny to the absolute maximum. It should never happen that it's going to be something in between, as this will result in a greasy, hard-to-play game. Fortunately, the Alien Incident belongs to the second type of game, it is a game with perfect sense of humor. The game starts with being invoked by your uncle to watch a meeting with aliens. What will happen, however, during this event, your uncle is kidnapped and here begins the story of this game. Don't worry, even though the introduction and title of the game look terrible, the aliens are friendly looking, and you are not going be afraid but will be laughing all the time. A great addition to the game is the logical problems you encounter in the game are still logical despite their foolishness and the game has a very fast pace. The great feature of the game is the nice cartoon graphic with the smooth animations of the characters. For all those who like funny adventures, the Alien Incident is a mandatory jump!
